Torrey Smith joined his teammates at M&T Bank Stadium on
Sunday afternoon — just hours after his younger brother was killed in a
motorcycle accident.
Smith, who was preparing for Baltimore's showdown with the
Patriots late Saturday night, received a call around 2 a.m. with news of the death of his 19-year-old brother. The Ravens were not sure if Smith would play Sunday night against the
Patriots, but he reported Sunday afternoon, wanting to suit up.
Smith's brother, Tevin Jones, was riding his motorcycle on a
highway in northeast Virginia when his bike ran off the road and crashed into a
utility pole, according to reports.
Smith expressed his feelings Sunday morning as news of the crash came out.
I can't believe my little brother is gone…be thankful for your loved ones and tell them you love them…this is the hardest thing ever

Smith, who has four catches for 107 yards this season, was
active for Sunday's game and will be starting opposite Anquan
Boldin in the Ravens offense.
