Tyler Seguin just became a rich man. And that’s about all that has changed for the Boston winger.
Seguin sat down with NESN’s Naoko Funayama after inking his new six-year, $34.5 million extension with the Bruins on Tuesday, and he showed no signs of being a man who’s going to become complacent in the wake of his big payday.
Seguin, who is still just 20-years-old, said he feels there’s still a lot of respect to be earned, and he’s thrilled to be spending the foreseeable future in Boston. The talented forward said the city has felt like home since Day 1, and he feels that the sky’s the limit as the Bruins look to capture another Stanley Cup.
