On a night when people everywhere dress up as people they are not, Alex Morgan kept things pretty close to home by choosing to be another popular, female gold medal-winning Olympian.
The U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team forward chose to dress up for Halloween as U.S. gymnast and Internet celebrity McKayla Maroney. Sporting a USA leotard, a fake gold medal and a thoroughly unimpressed face, Morgan paid homage to a fellow Olympian with the most sincere form of flattery: imitation.
Though she may be a superstar athete, Morgan is still a 23-year-old so she was sure to put up plenty of pictures on Instagram from her night out. USWNT teammate Sydney Leroux joined her in the festivities as all-around gold medalist Gabby Douglas.
Check out some photos from Morgan and Leroux’s Halloween weekend.
