In the Tigers' 3-0 shutout of the Yankees in Game 2 of their American League Championship Series matchup on Sunday, Anibal Sanchez quieted one of the most potent lineups in Major League Baseball.
But it took some serious talent.
In the first inning, Sanchez escaped one of his few jams when he made a no-look, behind-the-back snag on a ground ball up the middle. With two outs and two men on, he swiped a grounder from Russell Martin that was targeted for center field, erasing a possible hit with a highlight-reel grab.
