Being: Liverpool is coming to NESN.
The acclaimed television series which brings you inside the world’s most historic soccer club makes its NESN debut on Thursday at 7 p.m. ET.
Being: Liverpool is a six-part series that takes viewers on a journey with the team. Starting at the end of the 2011-12 season, cameras follow the action as Liverpool embarks on a new era under manager Brendan Rodgers.
Scott Boggins, who produced HBO’s Emmy Award-winning series 24/7, led the production of Being: Liverpool. Fans of the HBO series will instantly recognize the quality of the work and high production value.
Watch Rodgers guide the team through preseason training and the first weeks of the 2012-13 campaign. See how world-class players like Luis Suarez and Steven Gerrard go about their business on and off the field, while youngsters like Jay Spearing look to rise to the level of their illustrious colleagues.
Viewers also meet the people who run the club behind-the-scenes, including (managing director) Ian Ayre, (team doctor) Dr. Zafar Iqbal, the cafeteria chef and team bus driver.
