As if a marching-band halftime show wasn't enough to keep a crowd engaged, apparently they need a narrative now, too.

Okay, we get it, Michigan had a pretty successful run against the Buckeyes in the '90s. So the Ohio State University Marching Band took a, let's just say interesting way of illustrating that point. On Sunday, during a game against Purdue, the band put together a 10-minute halftime show which tells the story of aliens and time travel, explaining how the Wolverines were able to be so successful a couple decades ago, and why it will never happen again.

Among the highlights of the show, check out the dancing alien at the 4-minute mark, and an homage to Back to the Future at around 7:30.

Elaborate? Undoubtedly. Confusing? Quite possibly. Really entertaining? You bet.
