Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) boss Carlo Ancelotti has rejected rumors that his team is set to bid on Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery in January.
Media in Germany have been speculating that PSG is interested in acquiring Ribery's services, but Ancelotti shot down those rumors quickly.
"It is not true that Ribery could come to PSG," Ancelotti said. "He is a very good player but I cannot see where we could find a position for him in our team. I have too many players in his position, and we are expecting someone."
That expected arrival is Sao Paolo forward Lucas Moura, who is set to join the club in January after agreeing to a move to the French capital in the summer.
Ribery has been at Bayern since 2007, and his contract with the club runs out in 2015.
