Christian Ponder and Samantha Steele have brought the term "power couple" to the world of sports.
After several days of rumors that the two had been seeing each other, Ponder confirmed on Twitter that he and Steele were in fact dating.
Steele, who took over as a reporter for College Gameday after the departure of Erin Andrews, has quickly become a fan favorite for her quirky personality and stunning good looks. But Ponder, who was taken in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft, is no slouch himself.
The second-year quarterback out of Florida State has been able to turn around a struggling Minnesota franchise this season and is considered one of the most talented young quarterbacks in the NFL.
Ponder and Steele may be a new item, but with bright futures for both, the sky appears to be the limit for their relationship.
