John Skelton owes Early Doucet lunch or something at the very least after what the Cardinals quarterback led his wide receiver into on Monday night.
Skelton tried to hit Doucet with a pass over the middle in the fourth quarter of Arizona's loss to the 49ers, and in the process, he got Doucet blown up.
San Francisco safety Dashon Goldson saw the play coming the whole way, and timed it perfectly, delivering a bone-crushing — yet legal — hit to Doucet.
The receiver was understandably shaken up, but he was able to walk off the field.
