Promising rookie Jared Sullinger has begun to earn some buzz for his strong play and his high basketball IQ, Doc Rivers is considering shaking up his starting lineups and the rest of the Celtics lineup continues to sort itself out as the players get more opportunities to play together.
Not lost in all that, however, has been the play of Jeff Green, a year removed from the heart surgery that forced him to sit out of all last season. The guard — who the Celtics signed this summer to a four-year, $36 million contract extension — has looked extremely valuable so far this offseason and could turn into a key piece for a Celtics team aiming to knock off LeBron James and the Miami Heat from atop the Eastern Conferece.
