Kobe Bryant Told Blake Griffin to Punch Opponents to Prevent Getting Fouled (Video)

Kobe Bryant
gave Blake Griffin some interesting advice on how to prevent getting fouled so much.

Griffin was on Conan O'Brien's late-night talk show on Monday promoting NBA 2K13 when the red-haired host asked him if he could do anything about getting fouled less during games. Apparently, the Clippers' talented forward received some unusual advice from his across-the-hall rival, Bryant.

"Kobe gave me some advice, I don't think I can really say the real advice, but basically he told me to punch everybody," said Griffin. "He said, 'Fight somebody one time and it'll all stop happening.'"

Griffin admitted that it wasn't great advice from Bryant, but he did appreciate it. Likewise, David Stern may not appreciate the advice, either. Griffin is an imposing player at 6-foot-10, 250-pounds, so he could do some damage with one swing of the fist. At least we know that if Griffin does ever get up and "punch someone in the face," he'll have Kobe and Conan to blame.
