Inch by inch, the 2012-13 NHL regular season is disappearing.

On Friday, the NHL announced that all regular season games through Nov. 1, 2012 have been officially canceled.

“The National Hockey League announced today the cancellation of the 2012-13 regular-season schedule through Nov. 1,” according to the report on NHL.com. “A total of 135 regular-season games were scheduled for Oct. 11 through Nov. 1.
