Northeastern’s basketball team has more talent than a lot of teams the Huskies will play this year. But there are also teams whose talent level meets or exceeds that of NU. The Northeastern coaching staff wants to beat those more talented teams, though, and it all starts with chemistry and leadership.
In order to build such chemistry and leadership, the team’s staff put the players through an intense program inspired by the school’s field hockey team. The training pushed the Huskies to the limit, but they’re certainly a better squad because of it.
Northeastern’s season is being chronicled as part of a series called Huskies Unleashed. Check out the first episode below, and check back at NESN.com for more epsiodes going forward.
