Pat Fitzgerald now knows what it's going to take for his Northwestern Wildcats to knock off Nebraska in an important Big 10 game this Saturday. It's going to take a little shut-eye before the game.

Fitzgerald announced earlier this week that when the two teams meet Saturday in Lincoln, the Cats will be doing so with the benefit of a catnap. That's good news for Northwestern fans, given the game is at 2:30 p.m.

The head coach said that he asked the team's Leadership Counsel why they started slow for their last 2:30 start. The answer he got, according to the Chicago Tribune, had to do with a lack fo sleep apparently.

"Unbelievable," he said, according to the paper. "This is what I get paid to do. Seriously. Create nap time. It's pathetic."

It's no joke, either. Fitzgerald actually tweeted a picture of the team's traveling itinerary on Wednesday, and sure enough, "Mandatory Cat Nap" is listed for 9:30 a.m.
