Patriots fans always have high expectations, and those expectations have hardly been met this season.
Sure, the Pats have a winning record, but 4-3 isn’t exactly what New Englanders were hoping for through the first seven games, and the team’s defense has done little to alleviate concerns. That being said, Bill Belichick‘s bunch always has the potential to flip the switch at any given moment, which is something ESPN NFL analyst Mark Schlereth noted on WEEI’s Dennis and Callahan on Wednesday.
Schlereth also talked about how weak the AFC appears right now, with the Texans standing alone in terms of the conference’s elite.
