As CC Sabathia takes the mound for the Yankees on Monday night, he might be understandably licking his chops at the prospect of facing this Red Sox lineup.
Without the likes of Jacoby Ellsbury or Dustin Pedroia batting for Boston, Sabathia will instead get a chance to face a Red Sox lineup that is a bit, shall we say, lacking in star power. However, there is one possible fly in Sabathia’s ointment, and his name is Pedro Ciriaco.
Ciriaco has crushed New York so far this season, and NESN Nation’s Dan Duquette is hoping he can keep it up for one more night. Maybe if not for the Sox, then at least for the Baltimore Orioles. See more in the above video.
