While Rajon Rondo, Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce are still suiting up for the C's, a new crop of players will join the ranks this season, with a handful of newbies hoping to make their impact and help Boston bring another banner to the TD Garden.
Jason Terry and Courtney Lee are perhaps the most well-known players joining the Celtics this season, and will likely receive the bulk of the minutes at shooting guard while Avery Bradley recovers from a shoulder injury. However, the Boston frontcourt has a host of new faces, each carrying a bit of intrigue.
Darko Milicic may be a far cry from the No. 2 pick he was expected to be, but he still could be a solid piece for the Celtics. Likewise, Jason Collins will be someone to keep an eye on when Doc Rivers is divvying up minutes for the bigs.
Rookies Jared Sullinger and Fab Melo also bring their own exciting possibilities, but how big of a role they will play for this year's squad is anyone's guess.
