Blown Trampoline Dunk Causes 13-Minute Delay During Phoenix-Orlando Game (Video)

The trampoline dunk has become a staple of NBA games over the years.

Often times performed by a team’s mascot, in this case, however, a member of the military was brough in to take a stab at it. Well, apparently dunking isn’t a part of basic training, as this military man not only missed the dunk, but tore off part of the net in the process.

This caused a 13-minute delay between the first and second quarters as the Phoenix Suns visited the Orlando Magic. Though TV timeouts and other artificial pauses have become a part of sports, suffice to say this one wasn’t in the plans.
