Florida State Fan Gets Effort Points for Face Paint That She Obviously Put on in Mirror (Photo)

You can’t fault the fans for trying.

Florida State, after all, has set the bar pretty high when it comes to game-day decorating, from fans dressing up to … um … interesting mascots (Cimarron, anyone?). So the exuberant fan who cracked out the face paint for Saturday’s game against Florida should at least get some bonus points for effort.

It’s just that, when Miss Florida State Fan went to carefully paint on the garnet and gold that would push her team to greatness, she neglected to have one of her friends serve as a spotter. It looks like Miss Florida State Fan just went for it with herself and a mirror, and the awesome result now ranks among the best game-day faces ever.

But really — how often do you think this probably happens to over-eager football fans? Miss Florida State Fan’s only crime was that she probably put her face paint on in the mirror alone, with the countless others who have misapplied their lettering most likely laughed back into the house by their tailgating friends before they could be caught on national TV with their mistake.

That being said, it is a little suspicious how excited Miss Florida State Fan gets during the game — and that she’s either stoked despite her face-filled gaffe, or that none of the thousands of people around her bothered telling her she’d messed up.

The excitement died soon enough anyway, with the Seminoles falling to Florida 37-26.

The careful face-painting didn’t help Florida State win, but we can all enjoy a mistake for the ages. Check it out in the photo below.
