Eddie Murphy’s Australian Girlfriend Paige Butcher a Diehard Laker Fan in the Making (Photos)

Eddie Murphy is a huge Lakers fan. Luckily, it appears that his new girlfriend Paige Butcher is a big sports fan, too.

According to US Weekly, the two “lovebirds” have been dating for about two months, so it should only be a matter of time before the Staples Center is graced with the pair’s presence. Butcher, a 33-year-old Australian model, is described by the tabloid as a bit of a tomboy.

“She loves sports,” US Weekly writes of the former MAXIM cover girl, “and [she] likes to go to basketball games.”

Lucky for her, then, that Murphy is a well-known season ticket holder for the Lakers. The movie star, who was recently honored by a SPIKE TV special Eddie Murphy: One Night Only, regularly appears among the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio and Jack Nicholson while rooting on the Forum Blue and Gold from the floor.

Butcher appeared with Murphy on the red carpet for the TV special … is a courtside seat for the Lake Show next for the couple?
