Kings Head Coach Keith Smart Picks up Banner From Sleep Train Arena Scoreboard During Kings-Warriors Game (Photos)

On Monday night, the Sacramento Kings and Golden State Warriors did battle, all-California style.

With 5:30 left in the second quarter, a banner fell from the scoreboard at the newly named Sleep Train Arena (no, that’s not a joke) in Sac-town that fluttered its way down towards midcourt. Kings head coach Keith Smart ran on to the hardwood to pick up the fallen banner, and nearly slipped.

The banner’s brother remained attached to the scoreboard — for the remainder of the game anyways. Check out the photos below to see the mishap in Sacramento.
