It’s been a tough week for the New York Jets.
First they lost big to the Seahawks 28-7, then anonymous players ripped backup quarterback Tim Tebow in the press. And, oh yeah, their starting quarterback isn’t very good, either.
No matter, taking on the mantra of their defiant head coach, Rex Ryan, the team is dismissing all the haters, and sporting the apparel to show it.
Some time this week the Jets distributed shirts which read “We will persist” to players, as seen modeled by Mark Sanchez. Some might argue that perhaps the Jets should stick to worrying about stuff on the field rather than sticking to their talking points, but hey, if moralizing clothing is your thing, check out the Jets’ new shirts below.
