The Mets are going back to blue in 2013, at least for a few games.

The club may not be ready to contend in the NL East next season, but they’ll be among the sharpest-dressed teams in baseball when they take the fields in their new alternate road jerseys.

The jersey also features the All-Star Game patch, with the Mets hosting the Midsummer Classic this season at Citi Field.

The club unveiled the new alternate tops on Wednesday via Twitter.
