The NFL has dipped its toe into European waters by playing a game in London the last several years. In the future, however, the league might be preparing to jump in all the way.
On The Dennis & Callahan Show on Thursday morning, The Boston Globe’s Greg Bedard speculated on the NFL’s future overseas as well as the league’s expansion plans closer to home. He suggested that if the league wants to move one team to London, it might not be very long until we soon see a new league spring up across the pond, with two champions meeting in some super-Super Bowl with worldwide implications.
