After weeks of doubt that turned into months of doubt, it looks like there may be a NHL season in 2013 after all.
The NHL owners and players met for the second consecutive day on Wednesday and the two sides continue to draw closer in agreements on a new CBA.
Former NHLPA executive director Paul Kelly appeared on Wednesday night’s edition of NESN Daily to talk about what took place at Wednesday’s meetings. He said the players and owners agreed upon the 50-50 split of revenue, and are now discussing issues including contract length, salary arbitration and free agency.
