NHL, NHLPA Getting Closer in Negotiations After Meeting for Second Straight Day on Wednesday (Video)

After weeks of doubt that turned into months of doubt, it looks like there may be a NHL season in 2013 after all.

The NHL owners and players met for the second consecutive day on Wednesday and the two sides continue to draw closer in agreements on a new CBA.

Former NHLPA executive director Paul Kelly¬†appeared on Wednesday night’s edition of NESN Daily to talk about what took place at Wednesday’s meetings. He said the players and owners agreed upon the 50-50 split of revenue, and are now discussing issues including contract length, salary arbitration and free agency.
