It was finally time to get back to the bargaining table for the NHL and its players’ association on Tuesday.
After going 18 days without discussing a new CBA, the two sides met for several hours and even extended their meeting past the original set time of 7:40 p.m. Talks between the players and owners will resume on Wednesday.
John Shannon of Sportsnet shared his insight on the meeting with NESN Daily on Tuesday and predicted that if a regular season is to begin on Dec. 1, another week of negotiations must take place.
