Rajon Rondo Rebounds Own Blocked Shot, Sinks One-Handed Tip From Way Out to Beat Clock (Video)

The Celtics showed a lot more life Saturday night against the Wizards than they did in their first two games of the season, which were both losses.

But after jumping out to an early lead Saturday, Boston was fighting fatigue down the stretch as the C’s tried to close out the game.

Enter Rajon Rondo.

With just over four minutes on the game clock and the Celtics needing some offense to hold on to their slim lead, Rondo went for a shot but had his attempt blocked. No matter — the crafty Celtics guard, who has always been more adept at passing, tipping and batting the ball better than anyone else — came up with his own rebound and, in one motion, tossed up a one-handed floater to beat the shot clock and get the bucket.

It was, as so many of Rondo’s moves are, a shot like no other. Check it out in the video below.
