Did Alexandre Burrows bite Patrice Bergeron during Game 1 of the 2011 Stanley Cup Final? The referees said no, but the Bruins — and the team’s fans — knew better.

So when the B’s and CanucksĀ  took the ice for Game 2, after Boston suffered a last-second defeat to Vancouver in the opening game, it quickly became clear that these two teams did not like each other. That mutual dislike, however, translated into some pretty exciting hockey.

Hoping to avoid another 0-2 hole in a playoff series, the Bruins gave Roberto Luongo and Co. everything they could handle, heading into overtime with a chance to even the series.

Tune in at 8 p.m. on Thursday for all the action, and be sure to join the conversation on social media by using the #Bruins2011 hashtag during the broadcast. Also, keep an eye out for more upcoming NESN broadcasts of games from the Bruinsā€™ historic Stanley Cup run.
