Robert Griffin III Misses Just One Pass, Throws Four Touchdowns in Redskins’ Win Over Eagles (Video)

The race for the offensive rookie of the year may come down to the wire this season.

While Andrew Luck is winning and giving hope to Colts fans in Indianapolis, Robert Griffin III is doing things on the football field we’ve never seen before. It’s not hyperbole to say the NFL has never seen a player with Griffin’s combination of speed, accuracy and arm strength. Steve Young may be the closest comparison you can make, but Young had moderate speed, not world-class speed.

Griffin had one of those games on Sunday that just makes you say, “Wow.” He completed 14-of-15 passes for 200 yards and four touchdowns. He also led the Redskins in rushing with 84 yards on 12 carries. Needless to say, Griffin’s quarterback rating was a perfect 158.3 on the afternoon.
