Steve Blake has been fined $25,000 for “directing inappropriate language toward a fan” during the fourth quarter of the Lakers’ loss to the Clippers on Friday, executive vice president of basketball operations Stu Jackson announced Tuesday.
Blake could be seen jawing with the courtside fan during the closing minute of the contest. According to ESPN.com, the fan told Blake, “You need to knock down those open shots,” which then led to Blake responding upon fouling out of the game.
