Tim Tebow is openly a "big fan" of many things — and that may be an understatement.
Tebow's love for Jesus Christ isn't exactly a secret, and the Jets QB recently made news for being a fan of Camilla Belle — fandom that just about everybody can understand.
However, Tebow's latest announcement of one of his new favorite football teams has left some Florida natives scratching their heads.
Tebow, a graduate of the University of Florida, said he is now rooting for the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Tebow has good reason for his loyalties shifting — his former coach, Urban Meyer, is now the head man for Ohio State. But the former Heisman winner could be getting the stink eye from some Gator fans.
And even though Tebow thinks he's the newest member of Buckeye Nation, don't be surprised if his membership isn't approved by everybody in Columbus. After all, Tebow was a member of the 2006-07 Florida Gators squad that beat Ohio State 41-14 in the national championship game — a game where Tebow accounted for two touchdowns.
