The TD Garden announced on Thursday that professional boxing will make its highly anticipated return to Boston on Friday, Dec. 14 with the opening bell scheduled for 7 p.m.
“Night at the Fights” will highlight several New England fighters in their Garden debuts, featuring Framingham native and welterweight competitor Danny O’Connor. Quincy’s Ryan Kielczewski will also fight in one of the evening’s main events, trying to keep his undefeated junior lightweight streak going.
Prior to the two main fights, four amateur matchups featuring USA Boxing New England All-Stars will build the anticipation for later in the evening. And kicking off the long-awaited return of boxing to Boston, a selection of legends will host an autograph session for select fans.
Mickey Ward and Tony Demarco, among others, will conduct a pre-event autograph signing in the Garden to energize the crowd.
Tickets for “TD Garden’s Night at the Fights” go on sale on Friday at 11 a.m. at the Garden and through Ticketmaster. Prices range from $37.50-$47.50, and $50 for tickets and access to the autograph signing.
