NHL, NHLPA Can Make Fans Winners by Ending Lockout, Salvaging Some of 2012-13 Season (Video)

Positive news continues to come out of New York City on Wednesday regarding the possibility of NHL owners and players coming to an agreement on a new collective bargaining agreement.

If in fact there is a season, it will most likely include a 56-game schedule. With the shortened schedule, it will be interesting to see how players can adjust after playing overseas or not playing at all. NESN’s Andy Brickley spoke with Leah Hextall about which teams have an advantage due to the shortened schedule.

While the lockout has not ended yet, Brickley is extremely confident in the two sides’ ability to make a deal. To hear his thoughts on Wednesday’s meetings and more, check out the video above.
