While Tom Brady can’t necessarily take credit for having his daughter’s birth fall on a non-game day, he can get props for being a professional on both the dad and football fronts this week.
Brady was back on the practice field Friday and Saturday, and Patriots coach Bill Belichick said the quarterback was just as prepared as ever.
“He was like an hour late coming in the day after it, but otherwise good,” Belichick said Saturday. “We met yesterday. I think he’s right on top of everything like he usually is as far as preparation. We met, and we went over [the Houston Texans'] scheme and their players and adjustments and things we expect them to do and so forth. He seemed right on top of it to me, like he usually does.”
Brady and his wife, Gisele Bundchen, welcomed Vivian Lake to the world on Wednesday night. She joins older brothers Benjamin and John.
