Oh, Chad Johnson, don’t ever change.

Ever since the artists formerly known as Ochocinco was released by the Miami Dolphins during the NFL season following an arrest, we haven’t heard all that much from the mercurial former star. What we do know is that Johnson has apparently taken anger management classes and bought a car that cost almost $400,000, but there hasn’t been much on the football front.

Well, recently Johnson appeared on ESPN2’s First Take, and he made his case as to why an NFL team should give him a shot.

Johnson admits that it might be too late in the year for a team to sign him (he also says he’s still “working on [him]self,” whatever that means), but if a team should be looking for wide receiver help next year, he brings some things to the table. What are those things, precisely? Well, “humility, I’m quiet and I’m always open.”

“That’s simple. What else do you want?”

Check out Johnson make his case in the video below.
