The ball was very much bouncing the right way for the Patriots on Monday night against the Texans.

Tom Brady tossed a checkdown to Danny Woodhead early in the fourth quarter, and Texans star defensive end J.J. Watt ran 16 yards down the field to punch the ball out of the Patriots’ running back’s arms from behind. Fortunately for New England, the ball bounced 13 yards down the field and into Brandon Lloyd‘s awaiting arms in the end zone.

Woodhead had made a couple of nifty moves and surely wasn’t expecting the 295-pound Watt to catch him from behind. The Patriots got the six points on the play, but Watt probably deserves the most praise for his effort, awareness and playmaking skills.

Let’s not dismiss Lloyd’s awareness either, though. Check out the bang-bang play in the GIF below.
