Colton Yellow Horn, a 25-year-old winger lacing them up for the Ontario Reign of the ECHL nowadays, quickly became an Internet sensation this week following what can only be described as a sick goal.
Yellow Horn decided to use his shootout opportunity against the San Francisco Bulls as a chance to showcase some nifty stickwork, beating goalie Thomas Heemskerk on the backhand after slipping the puck between his own legs. Adding to the goal’s awesomeness is that it served as the game-winner, with the Reign skating away with a 4-3 victory.
Add in Yellow Horn’s fantastic name, and this goal is a 37 on a scale of 1 to 10.
