We’re not sure if this is more notable due to the current utter hatred of Mark Sanchez in New York, or the sheer speed that Nike can apparently make custom jerseys, but it’s funny nonetheless.
A New York Jets fan wore a custom Sanchez “Buttfumble” jersey to the team’s game against the Cardinals on Sunday. Clearly, the jersey was referencing Sanchez’s unforgettable play against the Patriots on Thanksgiving when he ran into guard Brandon Moore‘s rear end, causing a fumble.
The fan was likely among those booing Sanchez during his three-interception first-half performance, and also among those cheering when second-year Alabama product Greg McElroy replaced Sanchez in the third quarter.
