Julian EdelmanThe Patriots offense keeps chugging along despite numerous injuries, and they might have lost one more player on Sunday against the Dolphins.

Julian Edelman left the game against Miami in the fourth quarter after injuring his foot. He was seen briefly leaving the locker room in a walking boot with crutches, according to Field Yates of ESPN. Edelman also suffered a concussion in last Thursday’s game against the Jets.

The Patriots were already shallow at wide receiver. Special teamer Matthew Slater had to come into the game as the team’s third wide receiver since the Patriots were only carrying four at the position. Deion Branch was released on Nov. 17 and could be brought back — if healthy — depending on the severity of Edelman’s foot injury.
