Andy ReidIt’s the unofficial holiday that coaches around the NFL are loathe to celebrate: “Black Monday.”

The first day after the end of the regular season usually brings its fair share of coach and team executive firings, and this year’s has been no different. With no in-season firings to speak of, teams are instead wasting no time this offseason, and the pink slips have been flying in many an NFL front office.

Philadelphia Eagles coach Andy Reid is already the biggest name to be handed his walking papers, with the Bears’ Lovie Smith following in close succession.

Almost half of the league’s coaches are on the hot seat in some manner, and Monday is sure to see plenty of those on the move in the NFL’s unlucky version of musical chairs.
