Have you ever wanted to experience the frenzied excitement of an MLB war room on draft day? Or have you ever wanted to eat an omelet with your favorite player? Well now’s your chance.
MLB.com is holding an auction with once-in-a-lifetime experiences and all proceeds will go to Stand Up to Cancer. Among the items being auctioned are the Nationals’ draft day experience, where you get to be in the draft room when Washington’s general manager Mike Rizzo makes the team’s first-round selection, a meet and greet with Angels outfielder and American League Rookie of the Year Mike Trout, breakfast with San Francisco Giants outfielder Hunter Pence and a Yankees public relations internship “for a day.”
As you might have expected, these experiences aren’t cheap. All auctions end on Thursday and bidding for the Nationals’ draft-day experience is currently over $5,000. But where else are you going to get to meet Vin Scully or experience a day of spring training with the Orioles, while also donating to a very worthy cause?
You can check out all the incredible experiences here, and see what Stand Up to Cancer is all about here.
