Bode Miller has his work cut out for him apologizing to his wife after hitting her in the eye with a golf ball and sending her to the hospital for 50-plus stitches. What might cost him even more time in the doghouse is that Morgan Beck –a.k.a. Mrs. Miller — needs her eyesight for her job as a professional volleyball player.
Eyesight is obviously important to everyone, but it is even more of a big deal for professional athletes. While the 25-year-old Beck does do some modeling work in addition to playing volleyball, she does rely on her eyes to some extent to make a living.
Here’s hoping for a full recovery for Mrs. Miller, because it’s always unfortunate when an injury could possibly cut a career short.
