NHL players and owners were back at the bargaining table for the second straight day in New York City on Wednesday, and both sides are making sure they don’t get too excited about a deal getting done.
While the sides seem to be edging closer to coming towards an agreement on a new CBA that would lift the lockout, no one is getting ahead of themselves. There are still a number of finer points that need to be ironed out before the puck can drop on a 2012-13 season.
Fans still have to wait on the edge of their seats for the lockout to end, but at least the news they are hearing now is positive.
