The New England Patriots will honor the 26 victims of Friday’s tragic shooting in Newtown, Conn., prior to their Sunday night game against the 49ers.

The Patriots will send up 26 flares during a moment of silence to honor all 26 victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary shooting, according to Rich Eisen of the NFL Network. The team will also wear a helmet decal to remember the tragedy.

Since Newtown is 60 miles northeast of New York City, the Giants will also wear an S.H.E.S. helmet decal.
