Paul Pierce, Evan Turner, Jason RichardsonPaul Pierce is looking to get Lucky.

On Monday evening, the Celtics’ captain tweeted that he is looking for a good tattoo artist in Boston to give him some ink of the C’s leprechaun mascot. The 35-year-old Pierce does not have any tattoos visible when he is in uniform, unlike teammate Jason Terry, who added Lucky to his wide array of body ink prior to the season.

The Celtics were close to trading Pierce at the trade deadline last year, according to reports. It was not clear why the deal with New Jersey fell through, but Pierce must be confident that he will not be dealt this season. We have a feeling it would be hard to get a Celtics logo reworked into a Nets logo.
