Report: Blue Jays, Orioles and Rangers in ‘Intense Trade Talks’ With Mets for R.A. Dickey

The Mets appear to be shopping R.A. Dickey around, and there is no shortage of interested parties.

The Blue Jays, Orioles and Rangers were all in “intense trade talks” for the Cy Young winner on Thursday, according to the New York Daily News. Toronto is seen as the likeliest destination.

Dickey went 20-6 with a 2.73 ERA in 2012, the best year by far of his career. The 38-year-old knuckleballer led the National League with 230 strikeouts in 233 2/3 innings pitched.
