After a strong showing with the Baltimore Orioles last year, Joe Saunders is receiving interest from multiple teams this offseason.
The Orioles, Padres and Mariners have been in talks with Saunders, according to Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports. Saunders had a 3.63 ERA in seven starts with the Orioles last season after getting traded from the Diamondbacks on Aug. 26.
Saunders had a 4.07 ERA last season between the American League and National League with a 9-13 record and 112 strikeouts in 174 innings. He has a 4.15 career ERA and 1.369 WHIP in his eight-year career.
Saunders’ best season came in 2008 with the Angels, when he had a 3.41 ERA and a 17-7 record. Saunders was on a one-year, $6 million contract in 2012.
