Tom Fitzgerald played 17 seasons in the NHL with seven teams, ending his career in 2006 after playing his finals season with the Bruins.
With hockey in the blood all throughout the Fitzgerald extended family, that kind of legacy should be hard to live up to, but Ryan Fitzgerald is making it look easy. Now committed to Boston College and entering his draft year, the younger Fitzgerald is already making a name for himself with the skates on, and looks to follow in his dad’s (and his dad’s cousin, Keith Tkachuk) footsteps with a career in hockey.
