It didn’t take long for the Flyin’ Hawaiian to get himself some new headwear.
Shane Victorino, who reportedly inked a three-year deal with the Red Sox on Tuesday, immediately took to Twitter to express his excitement. On Wednesday, the veteran outfielder tweeted a photo of himself donning a new Sox lid.
Victorino also retweeted messages from a number of his Twitter followers, including pitcher Jon Lester, who welcomed the outfielder to his new ballclub. Victorino even included the hashtag #MAHALO — which, of course, means “thank you” in Hawaiian.
