Stevan Ridley has made a name for himself this season as one of the league’s best running backs. He’s also made his affinity for odd fashion statements very apparent.
The second-year back out of LSU rocked footie pajamas in a Cadillac of Norwood commercial that was posted on Wednesday. Ridley stars in the commercial with Chan Whiting, general manger of Cadillac Village, and it offers pretty much everything you could ask for in a local TV ad — poor acting, awkward interactions, stock music.
Apparently Ridley agreed to do the commercial under one circumstance: that Whiting join him in wearing matching pajamas. And Whiting agreed to wear the footies under one more accord: that Ridley join one lucky Cadillac owner (or leaser) for dinner.
